This time next week I’ll be cradling a stack of books and passing out cute trading cards. Yep. It’s time for the annual RT Booklovers Convention.

I’m super excited for lots of reasons. First, while I’ve been to many conventions, this will be my first time at RT Convention. (I even talked about it with Literary Escapism earlier this week!)

Better yet? I’m on a panel. At 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, I’m joining up with Darynda Jones, Kristen Painter, Amanda Carlson, Angela from Under the Covers and Dana from Readaholics Anonymous to answer questions about how to forge great author/blogger partnerships. That means we’ll share how authors can build mutually beneficial relationships with bloggers including what to say (and not say!), the efficacy of blog tours and more. Plus, we’ll take your questions.

Since you're coming to the panel, I'm like...

I’ve put together my own agenda and have a few meetings scheduled during the event, but mostly I’m doing all the fun stuff at the con. I’m coming to World Mardi Gras. I’m doing the Pub Crawl. I’m coming to the awards banquet to throw confetti at Kristen Callihan because she won an award and I love her. I’m dragging Amanda Bonilla/Mandy Baxter and Megan Frampton to the bar. I’m going to try crazy hard to meet authors I love in person, and then try really hard not to fangirl all over them in an inappropriate way.
