It’s been busy, busy here in Texas. November has zipped by too quickly. I’m eager for Christmas—it’s one of my favorite holidays—but need a moment to catch my breath. So much is happening at once. Good stuff, but woosh! Once we pass Thanksgiving, it’s pedal to the metal busy until 2017. Luckily for me, I like being busy.

Writing “The End” = The Best Feeling

I spent the long holiday weekend finishing work on a new project. There’s more work to be done (there always is), but reaching the end and being ready to give it a proper shine is a wonderful feeling. It’s the most personal book I’ve written thus far, and is still packed with the supernatural goodness I love. More details to come, but for now I’ll describe it as Fringe meets Mr. Robot.

NOLA StoryCon 2017

I had an absolute blast at NOLA StoryCon this year, and am thrilled to be returning in 2017 as a featured author. It’s a weekend of awesome in New Orleans with some of the best urban fantasy and paranormal romance authors. The event is hosted by Melissa Marr, Kelley Armstrong and Jeaniene Frost (three of my faves!), and there are 30+ other authors attending. It’s an intimate event where you’ll actually get to spend time with authors, and NEW ORLEANS.

Last year tickets sold out fast. It’s a bigger event this year, but I’d still suggest snagging tickets early. You won’t want to miss out on this one. Get the full details (and those tickets) at the official event site.
