I’m leading a discussion on writing engaging fight scenes at the /r/YAwriters subreddit today (and the next few days). This is different than the Write Like a Fighter posts I share here. Instead, the Reddit community is joining in talking about what works (and doesn’t work) for them in fight scenes.

We’ll discuss techniques for making a scene robust without slipping into describing mechanics, and delve into which elements are key for a strong scene. Join in the discussion (you don’t need to write YA to participate), and maybe share a few of your favorite authors of fight scenes.
